Licenses & Site Management

jekcms uses a single universal license key per license. The key is the same for every site you run — what differs between plans is only the number of sites you can activate. Every plan includes the exact same features and support.

How it works

1. Buy a plan. You receive one license key (e.g. JEKCMS-STD-XXXXXXXX-XXXX).
2. Register your sites in your account at jekcms.com → My Licenses.

Add each site's domain (e.g. siteadi.com, siteadi.net) up to your plan's limit. A Standard (3-site) license accepts 3 domains; the 4th is rejected.

1. Activate on your site. Install jekcms, go to Settings → License in

your site's admin, paste the key and click Activate.

Important: domains must be pre-registered

Activation is strict: a site can only activate if its domain is already registered for that license in your jekcms dashboard.

• Domain registered → key activates ✅
• Domain not registered → activation fails with a clear message telling you to

add the site in My Licenses first.

This gives you full control over exactly which sites use your license.

Domain format

Enter the bare domain — siteadi.com, blog.siteadi.com. The https://, www. and port are stripped automatically. A domain can belong to only one license.

Moving a site

Remove a domain in My Licenses to free a slot, then add a different domain. The removed site's license stops validating.

Upgrading

Need more sites? Open My Licenses → Upgrade (or the [Pricing page](/pricing)) and move to a higher plan. Your key stays the same; the site limit increases.
