The Story Behind jekcms
jekcms is a content management system we write for blogs, news sites and review sites. Speed, security and SEO settings come with the install.
How It Started
We started building jekcms in November 2025. The aim was to ship the SEO, speed and theme settings a blog or news site needs in one package, without a pile of separate plugins. The first public release came out in January 2026.
Every feature runs on our own publishing sites first and ships once it works there. Image conversion, structured data and the theme customiser all grew that way. Both the panel and the front end are in Turkish and English.

The rules we stick to while building it
Speed
Images convert to AVIF/WebP on upload, pages are served from a full-page cache, and the first screen's CSS is inlined.
Security
Two-factor login, CSRF protection, rate limiting, API key management and session protection are part of the core.
Openness
Posts, media, categories and statistics all have documented REST endpoints. A ready-made n8n template downloads from the panel, and webhooks connect jekcms to your own tools.
Feedback
Most new features start as requests users send us. Every release gets a published note, small fixes included.
Privacy
Your site's data stays on your own server. The built-in analytics sets no cookies and does not identify visitors.
Updates
Updates install from the panel with one button, on the free edition too. The whole changelog is public.
Technology Stack
jekcms runs on a plain stack: PHP and MySQL. No Node.js, no Redis, no Docker and no build step. The same files run on shared hosting and on your own server.

Page Speed
Images convert to AVIF and WebP the moment you upload them, pages come from a cache and JavaScript is deferred. All of it on by default.
SEO Included
The sitemap updates itself, and Schema.org data, Open Graph tags and canonical URLs are written into every page. No extra plugin.
Every Screen
Themes are checked on phone, tablet and desktop separately. In the customiser you can hide or show sections per device.
15 Ready-Made Themes
News, food, travel, finance, health, tech and more. Colours, fonts, card layout and section order all change from the customiser.
REST API
Posts, media, categories and statistics all have documented endpoints. The n8n template downloads from the panel, and anything that sends a webhook can connect.
Support
Write to us in Turkish or English. Support is included for the licence year. When it ends the site moves to the free edition and updates keep coming.
