We protect the value of the license you pay for: jekcms copies are traceable, and unauthorized use is detected and pursued.
Every copy is traceable
Each package you download carries digital markers unique to you, and every installation is registered with our license server. An unauthorized copy can be traced back to the exact license it leaked from.
Pirated copies stop working well
Updates, AI features and support are delivered through the jekcms.com license infrastructure. An unlicensed copy receives no updates, drifts out of compatibility and misses every security patch.
Legal protection
The software is protected by EULA 2.0: publishing the source, sharing keys or redistributing carries liquidated damages of 10× the license fee. Legitimate users never notice any of this; protection only activates on violation.

Yes. The free plan runs one site with no time limit and no card: the full editor, media library, built-in SEO, the REST API (so n8n and Zapier automations work), WordPress migration and every update including security fixes. Three themes are included: Lifestyle, Tech and News. Plugins, the other twelve themes, the theme customizer, the Content Wizard and the editor's SEO analysis stay on the paid plans. The free plan comes without support; the documentation is open to everyone; and it keeps the "Powered by jekcms" line in the footer.
You do not reinstall your site. After buying, you download the full package from your account, extract it over your existing install and enter the new license key; your content, settings and images stay exactly where they are. The other themes and the plugins become available in the panel from that moment.
The renewal price printed on the card: Personal $49, Standard $129, Professional $299. The first-year prices ($39 / $99 / $249) are a new-customer discount; renewals return to the list price. We put this in writing up front; we are not interested in the domain-registrar habit of showing a cheap first year and springing the real number on you later. Renewal is never automatic: you get an e-mail as the date approaches and you choose to pay; nothing is charged to your card without you.
Your site does not shut down. When the licence lapses, jekcms falls back to the free edition: you keep writing, publishing and receiving updates, and the theme you are already running keeps working. What stops is the premium side; plugins, the Content Wizard, the AI features and the right to switch to another premium theme. Renew and all of it comes back where you left it. There is no auto-renewal; your card is never charged without you.

No. Support is included in the licence price and runs for the same period; there is no separate support package to buy. When the period ends, only the ability to open new tickets stops; your site keeps running and keeps receiving updates.
No. While your licence is current you get everything, premium theme and plugin updates included. If you stop renewing you keep receiving the free edition's updates: core releases and security patches. A security patch is never paywalled.
Yes. You can upgrade anytime. You only pay the price difference between plans.
